Website is filled with obnoxious ads, distractions and "offers" to sell. Had a problem with a renewal and my email question got handled by 'bots that send meaningless canned responses. Moving elsewhere and looking around.

So far, I have no reason to switch. Price can always be lower, not that I'm complaining with the already EXTREMELY low prices... FREE would be the best of course... that's the only reason I gave a 4 for Price instead of 5

Yes, you can find a little cheaper, but if want to manage your own DNS setting, forwarding, subdomains, etc., there is none better for the money. NONE.

Godaddy is excellent and I will recommend to anyone. I would suggest users to be caution against those registrars who doesnt show price list on front page, such as Register.com. I feel this is very bad practice, they dont want to show it to you, since it is four times more expensive than Godaddy!. I won't complain about Ads and other service throw at you by Godaddy, since if you don't want it, no one is pointing a gun to your head to force you to buy it. Besides, others might need those services!

Do not use Namecheap! I tried to transfer a number of domains to Namecheap as a new customer. One domain transferred and the others didn't for unknown reasons. They sent me an email saying that the others didn't transfer and that my money would be refunded. I replied asking them why the domains didn't transfer. They didn't reply. Then I noticed that my money was not refunded (that is, the remainder of what I paid -- for the untransferred domains). There is no phone number, no way to contact them as they don't reply to emails. I am initiating a complaint with the BBB.

Altough they have very good prices, GoDaddy is cluttered with ads, and unsolicited offers are thrown at you from everywhere, especially during the domain name registration process itself. A much better option for the same price is NameCheap. They don't hassle you with 10-20 different "extras" you can add on, and there are little to no advertisements.

Their prices may be nice, but the site is horribly hard to navigate and find things. Me and another person spent 15 minutes trying to find how to transfer a domain to another account. The interface is incredibly clunky. The price is fine. As for support, I could not easily find how wher eto find help files, so they score low. Definatly never using them again.

Godaddy would score much higher, if they could just sort out their registration process... its VERY hard to navigate.. and extremely hard for new users to get through unscathed.... Other then that, GD is a pretty much average domain registrar....

Another great registrar, although they lack tremendously in the "Ease of Use" department in my opinion. They have far too many ads and other sign up things when you try and register a domain. Not very good when other competitors do not do this!

So I used Godaddy. It was cheaper - about $2 per name - and everything was done online. I then had a question, called, got an accurate instant answer. So I am now a fan of GoDaddy. Hopefully, they will continue to be as good as they have been thus far.
